Sahib Bharaj
Full-Stack Engineer · Nairobi, Kenya
Sahib Bharaj is a full-stack engineer based in Nairobi, Kenya, and CTO at ZKOSIS, where he leads a small engineering team across systems and dev-ops. He builds products end to end: typed Node and TypeScript services, the schemas underneath them, and the React interfaces on top. The work runs from Stripe payment links with signature-verified webhooks and reconciliation, through custodial ledgers that verify deposits before crediting and settle payouts on a schedule, to real-time multiplayer servers, AI tooling over the Model Context Protocol, and the operator consoles that let a business run its own product.

What Sahib does
I build products end to end. That means the data model, the service over it, the API contract, and the interface a person actually uses — not a slice of one layer handed across a boundary. Typed Node and TypeScript on the server, React and Next.js on the front, MongoDB or Postgres underneath depending on what the shape of the data wants.
Most of the work involves money, or state that has to be exactly right. Stripe payment links with hand-verified webhooks and a reconciler for the callback that never lands. A custodial ledger that will not credit a deposit until it has confirmed the payer signed and the exact amount arrived. A DeFi platform where earnings accrue per position, distribution resolves on a cycle and settlement runs as a scheduled job rather than on a request. An authoritative real-time server that owns every rule, so a modified client cannot manufacture a result.
As CTO at ZKOSIS I lead a small engineering team across systems and dev-ops while architecting a zero-knowledge identity attestation engine — compliant, anonymous verification on-chain, built alongside compliance partners and security auditors. The through-line is the one that started in real-time graphics: decide the constraint before you implement, and never trust the client.

Common questions
- Who is Sahib Bharaj?
- Sahib Bharaj is a full-stack engineer based in Nairobi, Kenya and CTO at ZKOSIS. He builds products end to end — typed Node and TypeScript services, the schemas beneath them, and the React interfaces on top — with most of the work involving payments, ledgers and real-time systems.
- What does Sahib Bharaj do?
- He builds immersive, real-time experiences for the web: interactive 3D scenes, product configurators, data visualisation, networked game mechanics and the typed React and Next.js interfaces that carry them. The emphasis is performance — scenes that hold 60fps on a mid-range Android phone rather than only on a workstation.
- Where is Sahib Bharaj based?
- Nairobi, Kenya. He works remotely with teams worldwide, usually as an embedded specialist on the 3D part of a product while the in-house team owns the rest.
- What technologies does Sahib Bharaj work with?
- TypeScript and Node on the server with Express, MongoDB, Postgres and Drizzle or Mongoose; React and Next.js on the front; Stripe for payments; Socket.IO for real-time; and Python where a job suits it.
- Is Sahib Bharaj available for hire?
- Yes — he takes contract and full-time work, from a single service to a product built end to end. The fastest route is email at sahib.bharajj@gmail.com, and everything gets a reply within a day.
- How long has Sahib Bharaj been working in 3D?
- Since 2020. In that time he has shipped over 250 projects across real-time 3D, games, platforms and AI tooling.
